What happens to my business details? Do you sell or rent your database to third parties?

All business and contact data is held in strictest confidence and never sold or given to third parties. Designease fully comply with the Data Protection Act.

 

Is there a minimum order quantity?

Standard stock items or items available to purchase online have a minimum quantity of 15.

As a general rule, bespoke products have a minimum quantity of 50, but please call us to discuss this as we can often do less, dependant on the product specification.

 

Lead Times/ Delivery Times?

Plain/Unprinted stock items and Plain/Unprinted items available to purchase online are dispatched within 5 working days on a recorded delivery service. We may be able to deliver these products sooner if required (sometimes the next day), please call us to discuss. Delivery is free of charge for items purchased online.

 

Plain/Unprinted items not held in stock/made to order are dispatched within 10 working days on a recorded delivery service.

 

Personalised/Branded products available to purchase online are dispatched within 10 working days on a recorded delivery service.

 

Personalised/Branded bespoke/made to order products purchased direct are dispatched within 10/15 working days on a recorded delivery service.

 

Lead times start from receipt of an Official Purchase Order or Online Order Confirmation, full payment confirmation and final ready suitable artwork (if applicable).

Online Purchases include Free Delivery to one UK Mainland address only. Can I get the polypropylene to match a specific colour?

If the colour you require is not available, we can try other options, including exact colour matching (subject to a minimum order) or colour flooding/colour washing a translucent polypropylene (it will then appear as your Brand Colour)

 

How can I get to see examples of your work?

Easy! Request a visit from our field sales team, catch us at an exhibition (see News to find out where we will be next), visit us at our Cotswolds factory, email us a request or just give us a call.

My client will want to see a sample before they order? Will this incur a charge?

We have a variety of samples in stock that have already been made for other clients, these can be shown to clients free of charge to check the quality and the product. For a specific sample to be made up, a charge may apply according to the complexity of the item and the time it takes to produce, please call us to discuss.

Which printing processes can you use to personalise polypropylene?

Screen printing, litho printing, Digital Printing, foil and blind blocking can all be used on polypropylene.

What payment options are available?

We accept payment by cheque, credit or debit card (except Amex and Diners) and bacs transfer. First time buyers if not buying online will be senta proforma invoice for prepayment before the order isproduced. Our Terms and Conditions are set out on the estimate we provide. Polypropylene - an environmentally responsible product

Before polypropylene was invented, the gaseous waste from oil such as propylene and ethylene were simply burned, because they were useless. Today, these gases are used to produce polypropylene, thus limiting atmospheric pollution.

Polypropylene, unlike PVC, does not give off chlorine when burnt. It gives off only water vapour and carbon dioxide, which is converted by photosynthesis (chlorophyll). It is a chemically inert product.

To incinerate some materials, extra fuel needs to be added. Polypropylene however, is destroyed simply by burning, because its calorific capacity is similar to that of oil. Thus incinerators economise on fuel and operate more efficiently.

The polypropylene we use is entirely recyclable and meets the manufacturing requirements of the Environment Commission. All off-cuts and production waste are sent for recycling.

Polypropylene products last much longer than those made from most similar materials. It is easy to wipe clean, hard wearing and will withstand extreme temperatures and ageing. Polypropylene products supplied by Designease which are found to be surplus to requirements, can be returned to the Company for recycling. Call for details.

Being more durable than alternative materials, products made from polypropylene don't need to be replaced as often. When used for packaging, boxes and cases often have a second 'life'. Saving cost, resources and our environment.
