Quantity is important as it has a bearing on the production processes and print options. Sheet size - Mostly A4 and A5. We need to know if it's portrait or landscape or if a special size is required.

Material
Polypropylene is supplied to us in sheet form and comes in 4 standard thickness' - 500micron (1/2mm), 800mic.(.8mm), 1200mic. (1.8mm)
Applications
- 500 micron
- Ideal for tabbed dividers and covers for wire/coil bound brochures. Can also be used for small capacity Presentation Cases and Proposal Folders. Limited colour range unless specially made. See further on for more information.
- 800 micron
- Most widely used gauge of polypropylene. Fine for A5 and A4 binders with ring mechanisms up to 30mm capacity. Mainly used for Presentation Cases, Presentation Folders and little boxes for CD's etc., Good choice of opaque and translucent colours.
- 1200 micron
- Better for ring binders with 25 to 40mm capacity and for the 'Organiser' style of binder which has a wrap round back cover to the front and is held with a press fastener. Used also for larger capacity cases.
- 1800 micron
- Large capacity ring binders, clipboards and sales presenters (not cases).
Material colours
Polypropylene is available in a wide range of colours. Not all are standard stock colours. Some colours are nearly always held in stock at the Factory, others are carried in stock at our suppliers and the third category is available as a special making.
For special making colours the supplier will specify a minimum measured in weight. The resulting number of sheets depends on the gauge of the polypropylene. Here's a matrix based on a standard sheet size 650 x 1100mm

There are sometimes situations where the client may need a mix of products; for instance cases in 800 micron and binders in 1200 micron. A making can be ordered accordingly, for example 70% 800 micron, 30% 1200 micron.
Out of a standard 650 x 1100mm sheet, we can usually get 4 binders up to 30mm capacity. Larger capacity binders will be 3 out of a sheet. Cases, depending on the size and capacity , 2 out of a sheet.
In general, the quantity of products ordered is between 50 and 2.500 as they are usually for a specific event or application. Runs of these lengths dictate the use of standard colours. There are many print options to meet demand for specific colour finishes.
Certain colours/finishes are prices differently. Enquiries should, whenever possible, quote the material colour required so that an accurate material cost is included in the estimate.
