Folding/flap closure options:
Tablock (fig1A)
simplest and most cost effective as it is due cut from the sheet at the same time as the case is cut. A ‘thumb-cut’ (D shape) into a straight slot.
Press Fasteners (fig1B&C)
One or two. The press fastener caps come in a choice of standard colours.
Moulded Plastic Clips (fig2A&B)
One or two. Recommended for cases with 30mm or more capacity, as they are quite bulky. Twist style clips are also available.
Velcro
Velcro can be used as a method for closing. Coin shaped or in strips. Velcro is expensive and costly to apply (labour intensive).
Additional options:
Nylon shoulder straps can be fitted on cases with a minimum of 30mm capacity.
Handles are usually rigid plastic and come in a choice of standard colours. Not usually fitted for reasons of packing and transportation. We supply all the components for a simple push fit assembly. Minimum case capacity 30mm.
Handles made from polypropylene strips are an option but only for small capacity cases where the contents are not heavy.
Smallest capacity case is 10mm and the largest, assuming it is to take A4 material, 130mm.
Up to 40mm capacity, the cases are usually delivered flat packed for easy shipping and convenient storage. Larger capacity cases are delivered constructed. We can assemble the thinner cases at an extra cost. Conference organisers with a tight deadline will sometime ask for this service and are prepared to pay the extra.
