Important!
Colour matching Pantone references when screen printing onto polypropylene can be difficult.
- The closest Pantone colour match is achieved when printing onto white polypropylene.
- When printing onto 'frosted' poly, whether it is the 'natural' or one of the tinted colours, the ink colour will look different due to the translucency of the material.
- Screen printing onto other opaque material colours can also create matching difficulties when the eye is deceived by the background colour.
- Customers may have had their logo printed onto other items (not necessarily poly.) and regard the last printing as a match to their pantone colour. If it wasn't a good match and we work only from the colour reference, the customer may believe we have used the wrong ink colour.
To help avoid potential disputes over colour matching, please provide a printed reference with the artwork.
