Screen Printing - the most commonly used printing method.
Benefits:
- Ideally suited to short/medium run lengths.
- Quick set-up times and low material wastage.
- Good quality solid print for maximum impact.
- Whole sheet printed at one time, images can appear anywhere on thesame side without any major cost increase.
- Can print onto all material thicknesses.
- Depending on the run length and product (size and style), or the design to be printed, we can print multiples out of a sheet. A large case for example, may only print one out, whereas A4/A5 items are 2 or 4 out and smaller items like a business card case, 6 or more from the sheet.
- Used for colour flooding the polypropylene to create specials effects such as a metallic look.
- Perfect for laying down a gloss varnish.
Limitations:
- Not suitable for half tones and subtle tints.
- Maximum screen value 60 dots per inch (dpi). Cannot reproduce sharp 'picture' or special fine detail effect.
