The three processes Screen Litho Foil/Blind Block

Litho Printing

Benefits:

Sample of litho printing
  • Can reproduce full colour images to a similar quality as print onto paper.
  • Litho print creates images up to 150 dots per inch. Perfect for half tones and vignettes. Best results achieved printing onto white polypropylene. Litho print onto any colour needs a white back-up print for a sharp reproduction of the design.
  • Ideal for longer runs as set-up charges and material wastage is high. Faster running time than screen printing.

Limitations:

  • Print onto 500 and 800 micron only. Thicker gauges will not pass through the printing press.
  • Maximum sheet size 630 x 980mm
  • Not really suitable for printing onto frosted polypropylene unless a white back-up is printed first. Show through creates a weak print image.
