Foil Printing
This is a heat and pressure process. A metal blocking die is used to stamp an image onto the polypropylene. Die charges depends on artwork and image size, usually between £60-100 (one time charge). Foil colours gold, silver, black or white.
Benefits:
- Reproduces metallic colours with a glossy/shiny effect. Particularly good for gold and silver.
- Economical for short runs.
Limitations:
- Can only 'print' one area at a time.
- Need to check the image size. Cannot reproduce a whole page image.
Blind Blocking
The same as above but without the foil, Perfect for subtle branding. We cannot blind emboss which requires a male and female die to create a 'raised' image.
